Remember that old public service announcement about what to do in case of a fire: Stop, Drop and Roll? Do you ever find yourself in the middle of a circumstance and you realize, “Oh my, this is my Test”? When you find yourself in the middle of a test: Stop … Drop (to your knees, whether physically or just in your heart) … and Pray! God has allowed the test because He wants you to reach out and connect with Him, and so that is the perfect response; and the results will be peace in your heart, freedom from stress and worry, and clarity to figure out what you need to do to pass the test.

God desires a relationship with mankind … it’s our purpose for being on earth. He has kept Himself invisible, but He allows and sometimes orchestrates circumstances that will hopefully cause us to reach out to Him. It is genius on His part, so now all we need to do is respond appropriately.  When we realize we are in the middle of a testing situation, that is the right time to take a pause and reach out for help from Above.  If you realize you are in the middle of a test, simply remember this public service announcement: Stop … Drop … and Pray!  It will turn your whole day around!
